From Indy Week: The NCGA’s New Class-Size Bill Is Loaded With a Bunch of Other Crap You’re Not Going to Like

Republicans in Raleigh are once again playing political games.  This time they are using our students as a political football.  They created an unfunded mandate to reduce class sizes for grades K-3 in public schools statewide.  By not allocating funds to enable schools to employ more teachers and add classrooms schools across the state are looking at cutting arts and music education.  Thanks to pressure from schools and parents the General Assembly did address the class size chaos they created. But Republicans didn't miss the opportunity to try to undermine the governor and play politics with the much-needed funds.  Indy Week explains below:
